Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced School Psychologists for a full-time position with school districts in the Adrian, Michigan area. We are seeking passionate and collaborative professionals committed to supporting students’ academic, social, and emotional success.
Applicants must meet all state and local requirements to apply, including:
Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field
Valid Michigan Department of Education (MDE) School Psychologist Certificate or License
Completion of an MDE-approved School Psychology preparation program, including internship requirements
Knowledge of Michigan special education laws and federal regulations (IDEA, Section 504, FERPA, etc.)
Proficiency in conducting psychoeducational assessments and interpreting results
Successful completion of background check and fingerprint clearance
Typical responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Conducting comprehensive psychological and educational evaluations
Developing, implementing, and monitoring individualized education programs (IEPs) and interventions
Collaborating with teachers, administrators, and families to support positive student outcomes
Providing counseling services, behavioral support, and crisis intervention
Assisting with multi-tiered systems of support (MTSS) and positive behavioral strategies
Participating in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
Ensuring compliance with MDE and district documentation requirements
