Blazer Jobs is currently conducting interviews for an experienced Hybrid School Psychologist to join a supportive team serving school districts in the Albuquerque, NM area. This role offers a flexible work model with both in-person and remote responsibilities, ideal for professionals seeking balance while making a meaningful impact in students’ academic and emotional well-being.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Applicants must meet the following New Mexico state and district requirements:

• Master’s or Doctoral Degree in School Psychology from an accredited institution

• Valid New Mexico Public Education Department (NMPED) School Psychologist License

• Must meet licensure requirements for ancillary service providers

• Successful completion of a background check and fingerprinting clearance

• Prior experience in a school setting is preferred

• Must be comfortable using virtual platforms and maintaining confidentiality in a hybrid environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments both in-person and virtually

• Develop and help implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)

• Collaborate with school teams and families to promote academic, emotional, and behavioral success

• Provide short-term counseling, intervention, and crisis support as needed

• Contribute to Response to Intervention (RTI) and Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) efforts

• Maintain accurate documentation and support compliance with federal and state special education guidelines
