• Virginia Board of Education Pupil Personnel Services License.

• Completion of a supervised internship and Praxis exam.

Job Description:
A high school in Alexandria, VA, is seeking a School Psychologist (PSYCH) to support students' academic and emotional success. The ideal candidate will work closely with educators, parents, and administrators to identify students' needs, implement interventions, and promote a positive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct evaluations to assess students’ learning, behavioral, and mental health needs.

• Develop individualized strategies to support high school students academically and emotionally.

• Participate in IEP and 504 Plan meetings to ensure student success.

• Provide counseling and crisis intervention services.

• Work collaboratively to create a safe and supportive learning environment.
