Full Time School Psychologist Job in Alvin, TX 77511

Blazer Jobs is actively seeking an experienced and dedicated School Psychologist for a full-time position with school districts in the Alvin, TX area. Schedule: Full-Time
Contract Renewal: Based on performance

Qualifications:

All applicants must meet the following local and state requirements to be considered:

• Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program

• Valid Texas Department of Education (CDE) Special Services License with a School Psychologist endorsement

• Completion of a supervised internship in a school setting

• Familiarity with Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) and Response to Intervention (RtI) practices

• Background check and fingerprint clearance as required by the Colorado Department of Education

• Experience with IEP development and participation in special education eligibility evaluations preferred

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychological and educational assessments

• Participate in eligibility determination meetings and develop IEP goals as needed

• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to support student learning and emotional development

• Provide direct and consultative psychological services to students

• Assist in crisis intervention and behavior management plans

• Support MTSS and other data-driven intervention strategies
