School Psychologist - Andover, Minnesota

Looking to make a difference in the lives of students while balancing a flexible schedule? A contract opportunity is available for a School Psychologist to provide crucial support and services in a dynamic educational environment near Andover, MN. This 0.4 FTE position is onsite, working approximately 15 hours per week, Monday through Friday, across the school year from late August to early June.

Key Qualifications:

• Must hold an active Minnesota School Psychologist license
• Previous experience working in school settings strongly preferred
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to develop and implement intervention strategies for a diverse student population
• Organized, reliable, and comfortable working onsite
• School Social Workers with relevant credentials may also be considered

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychological assessments and interpret results to assist in student evaluation and eligibility decisions
• Support the development of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and 504 plans in collaboration with educators and families
• Consult with teachers, staff, and parents to recommend strategies for academic, social, and behavioral success
• Provide crisis intervention and counseling to students as needed
• Deliver individual and small-group interventions
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation of all services
