What youll bring:

  • Master's, Specialist, or Doctorate degree in School Psychology
  • Valid CDE Special Service Provider License with endorsement in School Psychology
  • Proven experience as a school psychologist in educational settings
  • Up-to-date knowledge and practice of student assessments and interventions
  • Strong capability with both cognitive and behavioral assessments, IEP goal setting, and educational impact reporting
  • Skilled communicator, able to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and external partners
  • Calm, solution-oriented approach to crisis and risk situations
  • Expertise with technology relevant to student management and documentation
  • Experience supporting students from diverse backgrounds

Your responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct group and individual counseling to special education students according to IEPs
  • Design, implement, and monitor academic, behavioral, emotional, and mental health interventions
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations, write detailed reports, and support IEP process
  • Assess and respond swiftly to crisis situations, including risk assessments and safety planning
  • Collaborate with internal teams, families, and outside agencies to foster student adjustment and success
  • Participate in key meetings (IEP, MTSS, behavioral health teams, staff development)
  • Provide psychoeducation, consultation, and professional development for staff and families
  • Coordinate with community resources to support students holistic needs
