Make a meaningful impact in the educational journey of young learners as a dedicated school psychologist on an evaluation team. This contract opportunity places you in an engaging, fully in-person role, working with early childhood and elementary-age students to conduct vital Child Find evaluations. You'll join a district-based team where your expertise will be valued and your work will help shape the support and resources students receive.

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid Colorado Department of Education Special Service License with School Psychologist endorsement (Ages 0-21 required)
  • Experience with Child Find evaluations or similar psychoeducational assessment processes preferred
  • Ability to collaborate effectively on multidisciplinary teams
  • Openness to working across different school and evaluation locations as needed
  • Bilingual skills or experience as a bilingual Early Childhood Special Education teacher are highly desirable
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive Child Find evaluations for district students, both monolingual and bilingual, focusing on ages 0-21
  • Serve as a core member of the Evaluation Team at North Star Elementary or participate in district-level evaluations at other designated locations
  • Prepare assessment reports, participate in eligibility meetings, and provide recommendations to support student placement and services
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and service providers to deliver holistic, student-focused evaluations
  • Complete all necessary district contractor credentialing and packet paperwork prior to starting
