Meridian Academy serves students in grades 6-12 with significant social, emotional, and behavioral needs. This is a unique chance to engage with a focused caseload, collaborating closely with experienced teams dedicated to student success. Expand your skillset as you encounter fresh perspectives on intervention, assessment, and collaboration within a specialized teaching environment.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • CO DOE SSP (Special Service Provider) License with School Psychologist or School Social Worker endorsements (required)
  • CDE authorization as a School Psychologist or School Social Worker
  • Demonstrated expertise with middle and high school students with severe behavior challenges (facility placements, day treatment, etc.)
  • Background check and fingerprint clearance required

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver mental health services for students with high support needs per IEPs
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments, facilitate IEP meetings, and develop individualized plans
  • Collaborate with program staff to support students social-emotional and behavioral growth
  • Serve a focused caseload (currently 23, max 30 students)
