Position Snapshot:

• Role: School Psychologist (Travel Contract)

• Start Date: August 2025 - May 2026

• Schedule: Full-time (37.5 hours/week)

• Weekly Compensation for Travel Candidates: $2000 (includes an hourly base rate and tax-free travel stipends for eligible candidates)

• Hourly Rate for Local Candidates: $45+ / hour

• Employment Type: W-2 contract via BlazerJobs

• Duration: Full academic year with potential for extension

Responsibilities Include:

• Conducting psychological and educational assessments to identify students’ academic, emotional, and behavioral needs

• Collaborating with IEP teams to develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs)

• Providing direct and indirect support to students through counseling, behavioral interventions, and social-emotional learning strategies

• Recommending appropriate instructional strategies and accommodations based on evaluation results

• Maintaining accurate and timely documentation in accordance with school district and state guidelines

• Communicating regularly with families, teachers, and support staff to ensure coordinated and effective support for students

What We’re Looking For:

• Active MD School Psychologist Certification

• Previous experience in a school setting preferred

• Team-oriented, flexible, and committed to student success
