School Psychologist – Full-Time (Hybrid, Short-Term Assignment)
Location: Bastrop, TX Area
Assignment Duration: 2–3 Weeks in October 2025 (Maternity Leave Coverage)
Schedule: Hybrid – 2 Days Virtual / 3 Days Onsite

Blazer Jobs is currently interviewing experienced School Psychologists for a short-term, full-time opportunity in the Bastrop, Texas area. This position is for maternity leave coverage in October and features a flexible hybrid schedule, allowing professionals to support students both remotely and on-site.

Position Overview:

• Full-time, short-term assignment (2–3 weeks in October)

• Hybrid model: 2 days virtual, 3 days in person

• School-based role supporting students and staff during temporary leave coverage

• Possibility of future placements based on performance and availability

Requirements:
To qualify for this position, applicants must meet the following local and state requirements:

• Master’s or Doctoral Degree in School Psychology

• Valid Texas licensure as a Licensed Specialist in School Psychology (LSSP)

• Familiarity with virtual platforms and teletherapy best practices

• Previous experience in a school setting strongly preferred

• Must pass background checks and fingerprinting in compliance with Texas school district policies

Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations

• Participate in the development and review of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)

• Provide behavioral, emotional, and academic support for students

• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and interdisciplinary teams

• Deliver counseling and consultation services as needed

• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with state and district guidelines
