Blazer Jobs is partnering with public school districts across Nebraska to recruit certified School Psychologists for the upcoming 2025–2026 school year. This is an excellent opportunity for professionals who are passionate about student mental health, academic success, and evidence-based intervention.
As a School Psychologist, you’ll play a vital role in promoting safe, supportive learning environments. You will assess student needs, consult with educators and families, and help design individualized supports that promote both educational and emotional growth.
We are currently hiring in a range of Nebraska communities, including Omaha, Lincoln, Bellevue, Kearney, Hastings, North Platte, and rural districts.
Complete psychoeducational assessments for special education eligibility
Contribute to IEP development and monitor student progress
Participate in behavior intervention planning and implementation
Provide short-term counseling and support for students in need
Consult with school staff and families to guide instructional and behavioral strategies
Ensure compliance with Nebraska Department of Education (NDE) and federal guidelines
Valid Nebraska certification as a School Psychologist or eligibility to obtain licensure
Familiarity with IDEA and Nebraska state special education regulations
Prior experience in K–12 settings is preferred
Must pass all district and state-required background checks
Full-time and part-time opportunities available
Contracts span the 2025–2026 school year (August through May), with possible extension
W-2 employment through Blazer Jobs, with full recruiter support from start to finish
