Blazer Jobs is currently interviewing experienced and qualified School Psychologists for a full-time position with partner school districts in the Bennington, Vermont area. This opportunity is ideal for dedicated professionals who are passionate about supporting students’ academic, emotional, and behavioral development.
The School Psychologist will work as part of a multidisciplinary team to assess student needs, support individualized interventions, and help guide educational planning. This role plays a critical part in fostering a positive and inclusive school environment.
Conduct psychoeducational assessments and interpret data to inform educational decisions.
Develop and implement behavior management strategies and academic interventions.
Participate in the creation and review of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student learning and well-being.
Provide short-term counseling and crisis intervention services.
Serve on intervention and support teams to identify and monitor at-risk students.
Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations including IDEA and Section 504.
Applicants must meet all Vermont state and local requirements, including:
Master’s, Specialist, or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from a NASP-accredited program.
Current Vermont Agency of Education (AOE) Educator License with an endorsement in School Psychology.
Knowledge of MTSS/RTI frameworks, special education processes, and behavioral support plans.
Experience in school-based settings is preferred.
Strong communication, analytical, and collaborative problem-solving skills.
