Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced School Psychologists for a full-time role with partner school districts in the Tarrant, AL area. This is an exciting opportunity for professionals dedicated to supporting students’ academic, emotional, and behavioral success through comprehensive psychological services.

Position Requirements:
Applicants must meet all Alabama state and local requirements, including:

• Valid Alabama Professional Educator Certificate with a School Psychologist endorsement

• Specialist-level or doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program

• Completion of an approved internship or equivalent supervised experience

• Ability to pass background check and fingerprinting through the Alabama State Department of Education

• Authorization to work in the U.S.

• Previous school-based experience preferred but not required

Typical Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychological and psychoeducational evaluations

• Develop and support implementation of academic and behavioral interventions

• Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success

• Provide crisis intervention and mental health counseling as needed

• Participate in IEP, eligibility, and intervention team meetings

• Maintain thorough documentation and ensure compliance with state and federal guidelines
