School Psychologist - Bonita Springs, Florida

Make a meaningful impact supporting students success in an educational environment as a credentialed school psychologist. This full-time contract role offers the opportunity to collaborate with educational professionals and work directly with students across one or more school sites in the Fort Myers area.

Start the academic year on August 11th, 2026, and extend your expertise through May 27th, 2027. As a valued member of the student services team, youll engage in assessment, testing, report writing, and developing interventions that foster positive student outcomes. School-based and itinerant assignments may be part of your schedule, so adaptability and a collaborative mindset are key.

Ideal Background & Licensure:

• Active Florida Department of Health Psychologist license
• Demonstrated experience with conducting student assessments
• Prior school-based experience is preferred, especially in similar K-12 environments
• Strong communication and organizational skills, especially when writing reports and participating in IEP meetings
• Commitment to full-time availability (35 hours/week) and reliable transportation for travel between school locations

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychoeducational assessments and prepare detailed, actionable reports
• Collaborate with educators and families to support individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Provide valuable insights during IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
• Deliver evidence-based interventions in accordance with district policies and student needs
• Fulfill itinerant duties if assigned, maintaining flexibility and professionalism across multiple school locations
