School Psychologist in Burnsville, MN

This contract position offers full-time (37.5 hours/week), part-time (2526 hours/3.5 days), and part-time (about 18 hours/2.5 days) roles with standard working hours of 8am4pm.

Key Qualifications:

• Education Specialist or Doctoral degree in School Psychology, or equivalent
• Valid Minnesota school psychologist license (PELSB)
• Demonstrated dedication to equity, cultural responsiveness, and inclusive practices
• Extensive knowledge of evidence-based assessment, intervention, and mental health support for K-12
• Strong interpersonal, collaboration, and communication abilities to foster trust among varied stakeholders

Preferred Skills:

• National School Psychologist Certification (NCSP) or eligibility
• Experience consulting and supporting within an MTSS framework
• Proven leadership and adult facilitation skills
• Expertise in crisis prevention, intervention, postvention, and mental health strategies
• Deep understanding of federal and state special education laws and compliance
• Background in urban/multicultural education preferred

Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct and consultative psychological services for K-12 students
• Conduct comprehensive student assessments and provide evidence-based recommendations
• Collaborate with educators, families, and multi-disciplinary teams to support student growth
• Lead and participate in professional development, intervention planning, and problem-solving initiatives
