Step into an impactful contract opportunity supporting a diverse student population from Pre-K through 8th grade. In this specialized school-based role, youll focus on conducting evaluations and facilitating support services that help guide educational success for students at varying developmental stages. This position is structured for evaluation-only caseloads, averaging 63 evaluations in the previous year, plus active participation in Early Intervention transitions (TPBA) and Multi-Tiered System of Support (MTSS) referral meetings as needed.

Key Qualifications:

  • Possession of Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) and School Psychologist endorsement; pending licensure considered for travel professionals
  • Experience (or keen interest) in student assessments, evaluation tools, and psychoeducational reporting
  • Strong organizational and time management skills to independently balance multiple priorities
  • Ability to collaborate effectively during domain meetings and EI transition discussions
  • Team-oriented attitude; comfort operating from a district office rather than school buildings
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for partnering with staff and guardians

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and conduct initial domain meetings for students referred for evaluations
  • Complete psychoeducational assessments and all related documentation for eligibility determinations
  • Oversee Early Intervention (EI) transition processincluding TPBA for incoming students
  • Attend MTSS referral meetings to discuss the needs of individual students
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with all state and district guidelines
  • Work closely with multidisciplinary teams while focusing primarily on evaluation and transition processes

This contract position offers a schedule of 7:45am to 3:30pm, housed at the district office, and runs through June 19, 2027.
