Blazer Jobs is actively collaborating with public school districts throughout Ohio to hire licensed and skilled School Psychologists for the upcoming 2025–2026 academic year. This is a great chance for professionals dedicated to promoting student achievement and well-being through comprehensive psychological services.
As a School Psychologist in Ohio, you will conduct evaluations, provide counseling, and support interventions that address students’ academic, social, and emotional needs. You’ll work closely with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to design effective educational plans tailored to each student.
Openings exist in districts across Columbus, Cleveland, Cincinnati, Toledo, Akron, Dayton, Canton, and surrounding areas.
Perform psychoeducational assessments in line with Ohio Department of Education (ODE) regulations
Analyze assessment data to inform eligibility for special education and to recommend interventions
Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and collaborate with school teams
Provide counseling and behavioral support to students both individually and in small groups
Assist in implementing Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) and Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS)
Maintain detailed documentation and ensure compliance with federal and state laws, including IDEA
Communicate regularly with parents, teachers, and administrators regarding student progress
Master’s, Specialist, or Doctoral degree in School Psychology
Valid Ohio Department of Education certification/license as a School Psychologist
Experience in school settings preferred, though recent graduates are encouraged to apply
Familiarity with state and federal special education guidelines
Successful completion of background checks and fingerprinting as required by Ohio law
Full-time and part-time positions available
Contract period: August 2025 – June 2026
