Responsibilities include:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations for special education eligibility
  • Administer, score, and report on psychological assessments
  • Provide individual and group mental health counseling for students
  • Observe and evaluate student behaviors; analyze records and outside information
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and district personnel to support student growth
  • Recommend strategies to facilitate academic and social success
  • Coordinate and provide crisis management and intervention
  • Assist with the development and review of IEPs
  • Maintain accurate records, reports, and Medicaid documentation

Desired experience and qualifications:

  • Masters degree in School Psychology
  • At least two years of experience as a school psychologist intern or equivalent
  • Current state certification as a School Psychologist
  • Strong analytical, communication, and counseling skills
  • Ability to manage multiple cases and adapt to changing priorities
  • Comfortable working onsite and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
