School Psychologist - Conover, North Carolina

This contract position offers the opportunity to serve as a dedicated School Psychologist, working full-time from now through May 28, 2027. With a consistent Monday through Friday schedule totaling 37.5 hours per week, you will have the chance to make a meaningful impact across elementary, middle, and high school levels. Qualifications and Experience:

• Current certification or license as a School Psychologist
• Experience working within school settings at various grade levels
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaborating with educators, families, and students
• Proficiency in conducting psychological assessments and functional behavioral analyses
• Ability to facilitate eligibility and re-evaluation review meetings
• Knowledge of the referral and evaluation process for special education services
• Adaptability and a student-focused mindset

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct re-evaluation reviews, eligibility meetings, and functional behavioral assessments for students
• Perform initial psychological evaluations as needed
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of assessments and meetings
• Work collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams to create and support intervention plans
• Communicate assessment results and recommendations to families and staff
• Act as a resource to school personnel regarding student learning, behavior, and mental health
