Key qualifications:

• Current, active Alabama School Psychologist license required
• Experience working with K12 student populations across a variety of educational settings
• Strong assessment, intervention, and counseling skills
• Flexibility and adaptability for itinerant assignments, supporting multiple campuses as needed
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities with educators, parents, and support staff
• Ability to maintain accurate and detailed case documentation
• Must provide images of appropriate licensure at onboarding

Responsibilities include:

• Conducting psychoeducational assessments to guide individualized education planning
• Collaborating with school teams to design and implement student interventions
• Providing direct counseling and crisis support for students
• Maintaining detailed records in compliance with state and district requirements
• Traveling between assigned schools depending on testing demand
• Advocating for the wellbeing and academic success of students, supporting diverse learning needs
