School Psychologist in Daphne, AL

This contract position offers the opportunity to work on-site with K-12 students, providing crucial assessment and testing services to support their academic development and well-being for the 2026-2027 school year.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid Masters degree in School Psychometry or a related field
• Current professional license as a School Psychometrist (images of licenses required for employment)
• Previous experience working with K-12 populations in educational settings preferred
• Strong organizational and communication abilities
• Flexibility to adapt to changing caseloads and multiple school assignments; itinerant work possible depending on needs
• Commitment to professional ethics and responsive to feedback for ongoing improvement

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer, score, and interpret a variety of psychoeducational assessments for students across grade levels
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to inform and support educational planning
• Prepare accurate, thorough, and timely evaluative reports
• Participate in eligibility meetings, IEP meetings, and parent consultations as needed
• Uphold confidentiality and advocate for students needs
• Travel between assigned schools as required by testing demands

This is a full-time, on-site contract position running from October 1, 2026, to May 26, 2027, with the possibility for renewal based on performance and district needs. Specific school assignments will be determined as the start date approaches, and schedules may shift with testing demand. On-site interviews are available beginning August 26, 2026; please note there are no interviews scheduled from August 31 to September 4.
