Step into a meaningful opportunity supporting students mental health and educational success in the Denver area as a full-time School Psychologist on a contract basis. In this role, youll serve two schools per assignmentyour placement may range from early childhood through high school, determined on a first-come, first-serve basis. Youll collaborate closely with students, families, educators, and community partners to provide direct mental health services and comprehensive psychological support.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering individual and group counseling aligned with IEP goals
  • Designing and implementing effective interventions at individual, group, and system levels
  • Documenting services and progress through detailed reports, service logs, and IEP updates
  • Coordinating care and consulting with caseworkers, outside therapists, and community agencies
  • Conducting and documenting suicide risk assessments, threat evaluations, and crisis interventions
  • Completing cognitive, behavioral, adaptive, and social/emotional assessments for student evaluations
  • Writing comprehensive evaluation reports and behavioral intervention plans
  • Gathering information through school observations, interviews, and record reviews
  • Contributing to multi-disciplinary meetingsincluding IEP, MTSS, manifestation determination, and behavioral health teams
  • Providing psychoeducation and professional development for staff and families
  • Supporting students through home/wellness visits, resource referrals, and skill-building sessions

To qualify, you will need:

  • Minimum of 3 years experience in a school setting
  • A Masters, Specialists, or Doctorate degree in School Psychology
  • Active CDE Special Service Provider License endorsement in School Psychology
  • Strong interpersonal, assessment, and crisis management skills
  • Proficiency with technology and current school psychological practices
  • Experience working with diverse populations and collaborating across multidisciplinary teams

Assignments are full-time, 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with placements reviewed and offered promptly. Candidates will undergo district background and fingerprint checks.
