This contract position offers the opportunity to work directly at Meridian Academy, serving middle and high school students who have intensive social, emotional, and behavioral needs. You'll collaborate with dedicated staff to foster a supportive environment that truly makes a difference for every learner.

Required Qualifications:

• Colorado Department of Education (CDE) Special Service Provider (SSP) License with endorsement as a School Psychologist or School Social Worker
• Experience working with students in grades 612, ideally in settings such as facility placements, day treatment programs, or with severe behavioral needs
• Ability to fulfill all district-required background checks and fingerprinting
• Strong collaboration and communication skills, with experience navigating IEP processes and supporting multidisciplinary teams
• Availability to begin work as soon as possible and commit through May 27, 2027

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide targeted mental health and behavioral services to an assigned caseload (currently 23 students, up to 30 maximum) based on IEPs
• Collaborate with program staff to support each students social-emotional growth and behavior management
• Conduct evaluations, attend and lead IEP meetings, and contribute to the development and ongoing review of IEP plans
• Work on-site, 37.5 hours per week, ensuring continuity of support within a single school (Meridian Academy)
• Develop individualized interventions tailored to each students unique challenges and strengths
