School Psychologist in Falls Church, VA

A middle school is seeking a full-time, on-site school psychologist to join their team as soon as possible. This position offers the opportunity to support students social, emotional, and cognitive development through comprehensive psychological services. Prior experience working with middle or high school students is preferred, and part-time candidates will also be considered.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations to identify student needs
• Develop and implement intervention plans tailored to individual students
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and administrators to support student success
• Monitor student progress and adjust strategies as needed
• Provide crisis intervention and counseling services on-site

Qualifications:

• Active state licensure or certification as a school psychologist
• Experience working within middle or high school settings highly preferred
• Strong understanding of school-based psychological services and special education laws
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with students, staff, and families
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards

Location: Falls Church, VA (Middle School, exact site TBD)
Schedule: Full-time, on-site starting ASAP through the end of the school year; part-time candidates will be considered as well
