Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced School Psychologists for a full-time role with reputable school districts in the Forest City, NC area. We are seeking compassionate, dedicated professionals who are committed to supporting student success and wellness.

Location: Forest City, North Carolina
Position Type: Full-Time, School-Based
Start Date: Immediate
Renewal: Contract renewal for the next school year is based on performance.

Requirements:

All applicants must meet the following local and state requirements to be considered:

• Master’s or Doctoral Degree in School Psychology

• Valid North Carolina DPI School Psychologist License

• Current NC Board of Education Certification (if applicable)

• Previous experience in a school setting strongly preferred

• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening

Typical Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations

• Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to develop IEPs

• Provide crisis intervention and mental health support

• Deliver individual and group counseling as needed

• Monitor student progress and provide data-driven insights

• Consult with teachers and staff to develop strategies for learning and behavior
