Key Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Valid or pending Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) and School Psychologist credential
  • Expertise in psychological evaluations, ideally across Pre-K through 8th grade
  • Confidence in running domain meetings and overseeing evaluation/intervention processes
  • Experience with Early Intervention (EI) transition and transdisciplinary play-based assessment (TPBA) a plus

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychological evaluations (averaging 63 per year, evaluations only caseload)
  • Run domain meetings and oversee EI transition processes (17 last year)
  • Attend Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) referral meetings for individual students as needed
  • Collaborate with district leadership from the central office, focusing on evaluation and transition rather than daily direct student services
  • Maintain thorough compliance and documentation
