Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting a PreK-8 district near Glendale Heights, IL, where your expertise as a School Psychologist will make a lasting impact on students academic and social-emotional growth. Spanning the academic year from August 2026 to May 2027, this full-time position offers 35-37.5 hours each week in a collaborative school environment. The district embraces diversity and is especially interested in applicants who are comfortable working across all grade levels and can support students from varied backgrounds. Some hybrid work flexibility may be considered, although the primary expectation is onsite services.

Qualifications:

• Current Professional Educator License (PEL) with a School Psychologist endorsement required
• Previous experience serving PreK-8 students is highly desired
• Comfortable managing varied caseloads and adapting to different grade levels
• Bilingual in Spanish preferred but not required
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to function effectively as part of a multidisciplinary educational team

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive psycho-educational evaluations, assessments, and recommendations
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and other support professionals to create and implement effective interventions
• Conduct individual and group counseling as needed
• Participate in the development and review of IEPs
• Offer crisis intervention and consult on behavioral/mental health needs
• Support a positive, inclusive learning environment for all students
