As a school psychologist in Harvey, you’ll work with a diverse student population, conducting evaluations, identifying learning and behavioral challenges, and offering intervention services tailored to student needs. Your collaboration with teachers, parents, and school teams will help shape Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), promote student success, and build emotionally safe school environments. You’ll also contribute to preventative programming and crisis response—ensuring students receive the right support at the right time.
To qualify for this role in Louisiana, candidates must meet the following criteria:
Master’s or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology or Educational Psychology
Valid Louisiana Certification in School Psychology issued by the Louisiana Department of Education
Experience with psychoeducational assessments, MTSS/RTI processes, and IEP development
Familiarity with Louisiana state special education laws and reporting standards
Must meet all local district background check and fingerprinting requirements
