Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced School Psychologists for a full-time position with school districts in the Hayward, California area. We are seeking highly motivated professionals who are passionate about supporting student achievement by providing psychological services that address academic, social, emotional, and behavioral needs.

Location: Hayward, CA
Position Type: Full-Time, On-Site
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Renewal: Based on performance

Required Qualifications:

Applicants must meet the following California state and local requirements:

• Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology

• Valid California Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC) School Psychologist Credential

• Successful completion of an approved school psychology internship (minimum 1,200 hours)

• Knowledge of IDEA, Section 504, and other state and federal regulations related to special education

• Ability to pass criminal background checks and drug screening

• Prior school-based experience is preferred

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychoeducational assessments to evaluate academic, emotional, and behavioral needs of students

• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)

• Provide individual and group counseling services to students

• Work collaboratively with educators, administrators, and families to promote student success

• Participate in eligibility meetings, IEP meetings, and multidisciplinary team discussions

• Support crisis intervention and mental health services within the school environment

• Contribute to the development and implementation of positive behavioral and academic programs
