School Psychologist in Hazelwood, MO

Make a meaningful difference in K-12 education by supporting students as a school psychologist. In this contract role, youll work closely with students and educational staff to promote a positive learning environment and address students emotional and behavioral needs. The position offers a typical caseload of 8-10 students at any given time, providing opportunities to build strong professional relationships and make a significant impact.

Qualifications and Experience:

• State certification or eligibility as a School Psychologist
• Experience working with K-12 populations preferred
• Strong knowledge of assessment tools, interventions, and educational planning
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Ability to adapt to varying needs within the school setting
• Organizational skills to manage documentation and schedules efficiently

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct student assessments to identify educational, behavioral, and emotional needs
• Develop and implement individualized intervention plans and recommendations
• Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate on special education services
• Provide direct support and counseling for students as assigned
• Consult with teachers and parents to address academic or behavioral concerns
• Maintain accurate records and comply with district and state guidelines
• Engage in crisis intervention as needed
