School Psychologist - Hockessin, Delaware

This contract opportunity offers meaningful work as an onsite School Psychologist, providing services to students in need of expert guidance and compassionate care. Starting as soon as possible and continuing through early June 2027, this position ensures your expertise will help shape young lives over several academic years.

Key Qualifications:

• Current and valid Delaware Psychologist License is required
• Demonstrated experience as a School Psychologist in a PreK-5 or elementary setting preferred
• Strong skills in assessment, intervention, consultation, and counseling in school environments
• Ability to effectively collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Excellent communication, organizational, and record-keeping skills
• Comfortable with onsite (in-person) school-based responsibilities
• Willing to complete required $85 CBC fingerprinting prior to start

Role Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychological and academic assessments of students
• Interpret evaluation results and develop evidence-based recommendations and individualized support plans
• Participate in multi-disciplinary meetings, supporting IEP and eligibility processes
• Provide crisis intervention, counseling, and consultation for students, staff, and families
• Work collaboratively with educators and administrators to foster a positive learning environment
• Maintain accurate documentation, meet compliance timelines, and adhere to ethical and legal standards
• Serve as a resource for staff on strategies to promote student resiliency and well-being
