Job Description:
As a school psychologist, you'll be responsible for conducting psychological assessments, collaborating with educators and families, supporting student mental health, and assisting with behavioral interventions. You’ll help guide IEP development and provide counseling, consultation, and crisis support within the school environment. Your expertise will be vital in fostering a safe, supportive learning space for all students.
Texas Requirements:
Candidates must hold a valid Texas license as a Licensed Specialist in School Psychology (LSSP) issued by the Texas State Board of Examiners of Psychologists. A Master’s or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology is required. Prior experience in a K–12 educational setting is strongly preferred. All applicants must pass background checks and meet local district compliance standards.
