Employment Type: Full-Time | Local W-2 or Travel Contract Options
Pay Range: $45–$60+/hour (based on experience and employment path)

Blazer Jobs is actively hiring a licensed School Psychologist to support districts in the Jacksonville and St. Augustine, FL area. This full-time, 9-month school-year position offers an opportunity to provide meaningful support to students across multiple school campuses in northeast Florida.

Position Overview:
As a School Psychologist, you will work with K–12 students, conducting assessments, supporting IEP development, and helping implement interventions that promote student well-being. This role involves close collaboration with educators, families, and other specialists to create inclusive environments that support learning and mental health.

Employment Options:

  1. Local Path (W-2 through Blazer Jobs):

    • 9-month school-year placement

    • Full benefits package including health, dental, and vision insurance

    • Weekly pay: $45–$52/hour, depending on experience and credentials

  2. Travel Path (W-2 with Perks):

    • Flexible contracts with licensure support available

    • Weekly gross: $1,900–$2,400, depending on stipends and hours worked

    • Housing stipends and meal/per diem (if qualified)

    • Travel reimbursement

    • Licensure and credentialing assistance

    • Weekly pay: $52–$60+/hour, based on experience and travel status

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and functional behavior assessments

  • Collaborate on IEP development and team meetings

  • Provide counseling and mental health support services

  • Work closely with school staff and families to implement MTSS strategies

  • Maintain compliance with documentation and reporting standards

Requirements:

  • Master’s or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology

  • Active Florida Department of Education certification as a School Psychologist

  • NASP certification preferred

  • Previous school-based experience strongly valued

  • Must pass background and fingerprint clearance
