Blazer Jobs is currently seeking experienced and dedicated School Psychologists for full-time positions supporting school districts in the Lansing, MI area. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a collaborative school environment focused on student growth and well-being.


Qualifications & Requirements:

Applicants must meet all Michigan state and local requirements, including:

  • Valid Michigan School Psychologist License issued by the Michigan Department of Education

  • Master’s or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology from an accredited program

  • Completion of a state-approved School Psychology internship

  • Familiarity with Michigan’s Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) and Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) frameworks

  • Must complete a Michigan Criminal Background Check and FBI Fingerprinting

  • Experience in school-based settings strongly preferred

  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills


Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations

  • Support the development and implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)

  • Provide counseling and behavioral support services to students

  • Consult with teachers, parents, and school staff to develop effective strategies for student success

  • Participate in Response to Intervention (RTI) and MTSS initiatives

  • Assist with crisis intervention and risk assessments as needed

  • Maintain thorough and timely documentation in compliance with school district and state policies
