Multiple coverage options let you align your schedule and preferred school level with district needs, ranging from middle school to elementary placements. These assignments are onsite only and may vary in duration and hours based on the selected coverage.

Qualifications:

  • Masters, Specialist, or Doctorate degree in School Psychology
  • Valid Colorado CDE Special Service Provider License in School Psychology
  • Prior experience working in a school setting is required
  • Strong assessment, evaluation, and report-writing skills
  • Calm under pressure, skilled in crisis intervention and risk assessments
  • Personable with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a talent for collaborative teamwork across diverse stakeholders
  • Tech-savvy and adept at electronic documentation

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct services, including group and individual IEP-based counseling to special education students
  • Develop, implement, and document system, group, and individual interventions for academic, behavioral, and mental health needs affecting school performance
  • Provide crisis response, including suicide risk assessments and assistance with threat assessments and safety planning
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and participate in IEP development, review, and progress monitoring
  • Collaborate regularly with families, outside agencies, teachers, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Offer psychoeducation, behavioral consultation, and related support to staff, students, and families
