Key Qualifications:

• Active Connecticut licensure and relevant certification required
• Previous school-based experience is essential
• Proven expertise in administering psychoeducational evaluations
• Proficient in preparing comprehensive PPT (Planning and Placement Team) reports
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively liaise with students, parents, and faculty
• Availability for a Zoom interview as part of the hiring process

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct individual student assessments to identify learning and behavioral needs
• Prepare and present PPT reports in accordance with state and district guidelines
• Participate in team meetings to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Consult with teachers, staff, and families to recommend evidence-based interventions
• Maintain detailed records in compliance with confidentiality standards
• Be a key contributor to fostering an inclusive and respectful school environment

This is a full-time contract role, offering 35 hours per week onsite at a vibrant middle school near New Britain, CT. The position is set to begin as soon as possible, providing continuity and stability for both the successful candidate and the students theyll serve.
