School Psychologist in Mission Viejo, CA

A part-time contract opportunity is available for a School Psychologist who is passionate about meeting the diverse needs of school-aged children. This role is ideal for professionals with a background in bilingual assessments and a commitment to fostering success within a supportive educational environment.

Key Qualifications:

• Current PPS (Pupil Personnel Services) certification required
• Masters degree in School Psychology or closely related field
• Proven experience in school-based settings, preferably conducting bilingual assessments
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, especially working with multidisciplinary teams
• Bilingual proficiency is essential to effectively support assessment needs

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychological and bilingual assessments for students across multiple campuses as an itinerant psychologist
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and fellow specialists to develop data-driven intervention and support plans
• Deliver clear, actionable reports and participate in IEP meetings
• Provide consultation on mental health and behavioral interventions to staff and families
• Support a positive, inclusive school culture for diverse learners from various backgrounds
