Key Qualifications:

• Valid State Licensure as a School Psychologist
• Active DOE Certification required

• Previous experience in school settings preferred, but not mandatory
• Strong assessment, testing, and report-writing abilities
• Excellent communication skills, particularly for ARD, re-evaluation, and IEP meetings

Role Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational testing for students across varying age groups, as assigned
• Participate in all required ARD, re-evaluation, and IEP meetings to contribute insights and recommendations
• Collaborate closely with educators, families, and support teams to develop effective plans and interventions
• Travel between assigned schools within the Virginia Beach area as needed; number of campuses will vary by assignment
• Ensure thorough documentation and timely communication of assessment results and recommendations
• Uphold district and state policies, serving as a trusted advocate for students academic and emotional needs

Additional Details:

• School hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM 4:00 PM
• Assignments run through June 18, 2027, offering stability and the potential to build strong relationships within the school community

• Hybrid or remote (VOCO) arrangements are not available for this position; in-person presence is required
