School Psychologist – Port St. Lucie, FL

Compensation Packages

  • Local Candidates (Hourly Pay): $48 - $55 per hour

  • Travel Candidates (Weekly Take-Home Pay): $1693-  $1923 weekly, equivalent to 57-67 per hour. Travel packages include a low taxable hourly rate supplemented by housing and meal stipends.

A school in Port St. Lucie, FL is seeking a School Psychologist to support students’ academic, social, and emotional development. This role provides assessments, counseling, and intervention planning to help students succeed in school.

Requirements

  • Master’s or Specialist degree in School Psychology

  • Active Florida School Psychologist certification or license

  • Experience with academic and social-emotional assessments

  • Strong collaboration and communication skills

  • Prior school-based experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Conduct evaluations and psychological assessments for students

  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)

  • Provide counseling and support services as needed

  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student success

  • Maintain documentation and monitor student progress
