Job Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychological and educational assessments to support students' learning and behavioral needs.

• Interpret assessment results and develop individualized recommendations.

• Collaborate with educators, parents, and other support staff to develop and implement student support plans.

• Participate in the development and monitoring of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).

• Provide crisis intervention, counseling services, and behavioral support.

• Promote positive behavior and mental health practices within the school community.

• Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with school and legal requirements.

Qualifications:

To be considered for this role, applicants must meet the following local and state requirements for school psychology in Arizona:

• Master’s, Specialist, or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program.

• Valid Arizona Department of Education School Psychologist Certificate.

• Current or eligible Fingerprint Clearance Card issued by the Arizona Department of Public Safety.

• Prior experience in a school-based setting is highly preferred.

• Strong knowledge of special education laws, psychological assessment tools, and intervention strategies.
