Are you a dedicated and licensed School Psychologist looking for a rewarding contract opportunity in a supportive school district? We are seeking a passionate individual to join our team in the charming town of Cedartown, Georgia, for the upcoming school year.

We offer the average competitive hourly rate of $40-60 based on experience for this contract position.

Requirements:

  1. Educational Level: Specialist Degree
  2. Certification/License Required: Active Service Certificate in School Psychology (Georgia)
  3. Experience: 3 years of experience preferred

Essential Duties:

  • Demonstrates prompt and regular attendance.
  • Adheres to federal, state, and local due process procedures.
  • Conducts individual comprehensive psychological evaluations.
  • Uses professionally accepted practices and standardized procedures as set forth in the instruments’ manuals in test administration and scoring.
  • Prepares written reports that follow state guidelines.
  • Analyzes and integrates collected data.
  • Writes reports that are organized and easily understood by other professionals in the school.
  • Attends eligibility meetings for initial and reevaluations and verbally communicates assessment results and/or recommendations.
  • Reviews and interprets private psychologicals presented to the district; attends meetings to discuss these private evaluations with school teams.
  • Participates in Manifestation Determination Reviews.
  • Participates in Reevaluation Data Reviews as needed.
  • Participates in Preschool Evaluations as needed.
  • Adheres to the Code of Ethics for Educators in Georgia.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
