Full-Time School Psychologist Position - Upcoming School Year - St. Louis, MO

Blazer Jobs is currently interviewing experienced School Psychologists for full-time positions with school districts in the St. Louis, Missouri area for the upcoming school year. This is an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students’ academic, social, and emotional development while working in a supportive educational environment.
 
Details: 

• Location: St. Louis, MO
• Full Time: 37.5 hours per week
• Caseload: Age group and caseload to be determined. The district likes to discuss more details at the time of interview to see the best fit.

Applicants must meet all local and state requirements, including:

• Valid Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) certification in School Psychological Examiner or School Psychologist (Initial or Career Certificate).
• Master’s, Educational Specialist (Ed.S.), or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program.
• Completion of a supervised internship in school psychology.
• Satisfactory criminal background check and fingerprint clearance as required by Missouri law.
• Strong knowledge of special education laws and psychological assessment practices.
• Previous school-based experience is highly preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychological and educational evaluations
• Develop and present reports for multidisciplinary teams and IEP meetings
• Provide direct and consultative services to students, families, and staff
• Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and administrators to implement academic and behavioral interventions
• Support the development and implementation of IEPs and 504 Plans
• Contribute to Response to Intervention (RTI) and Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) processes
• Participate in crisis intervention, counseling, and consultation as needed
