This unique position provides coverage for two maternity leaves, supporting a diverse student population both onsite and virtually. With responsibilities that blend direct student support and collaborative problem-solving, youll play a key part in creating a positive educational environment.

Your expertise will be central in evaluating students, advising on intervention strategies, and assisting in the development of Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals. Youll also facilitate the implementation of Positive Behavior Support Plans (PBSP) by utilizing Functional Behavior Assessments (FBA), ensuring students receive tailored behavioral support. The position offers a full-time, 40-hour workweek from late August through the start of winter break in December, providing a structured, school-year rhythm.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Hold an active Minnesota School Psychologist certification or licensure
  • Demonstrated experience developing IEP goals and PBSPs using FBAs
  • Sound understanding and application of state and federal education regulations
  • Strong skills in evaluation, consultation, and collaboration with students, staff, and families

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive psychological services, including assessments and direct intervention
  • Partner with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement IEPs and PBSPs
  • Lead Functional Behavior Assessments and data collection
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal laws
  • Support students academic, social, and emotional needs
