Full-Time School Psychologist – San Francisco, CA - Open to VIRTUAL applicants
Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced School Psychologists for a full-time opportunity with school districts in the San Francisco, CA area. We are seeking professionals who are committed to supporting student mental health, academic performance, and emotional well-being.
Required Qualifications (per California state and district guidelines):
Master’s or higher degree in School Psychology, Educational Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution
Must hold a valid California Pupil Personnel Services (PPS) Credential with authorization in School Psychology
Minimum of one year of experience working as a School Psychologist in a K–12 educational setting
Must meet all local and state compliance requirements, including:
Live Scan fingerprint clearance
TB test clearance
Proof of required immunizations
Completion of mandated reporter training
Compliance with district-specific COVID-19 policies
Please Note: Applicants who do not meet the above requirements will not be considered for this position.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct psychoeducational assessments and interpret evaluation results
Participate in IEP meetings and assist in the development of appropriate goals and accommodations
Provide direct counseling services and behavior interventions for students
Collaborate with teachers, families, and support staff to design and implement effective interventions
Support crisis intervention, threat assessments, and school safety planning
Promote positive school climates and mental health awareness
Maintain timely and accurate documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines
