Key Qualifications:

• Current NM Public Education Department School Psychologist License
• Masters or Doctorate in School Psychology or related field
• Proven experience with student assessment and diagnostic evaluations
• Willingness and ability to travel between schools within the district
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
• Capacity to manage an average caseload of 3040 evaluations

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive student assessments to support academic and behavioral development
• Deliver consultative services to educators, administrators, and families
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to create and implement effective intervention plans
• Maintain clear, accurate records and participate in meetings as required
• Ensure compliance with all relevant state and federal guidelines for special education evaluations

This position offers a consistent weekly schedule of 37.5 hours, through May 2027, allowing you to build strong, ongoing relationships with students and staff.
