Job Opportunity: School Psychologist (Adult Program – 18+)

 

Location: Santa Clara, CA
Dates: 2025-2026 School Year (Exact dates TBD upon calendar approval)
Hours: 35 hours per week (Flexible schedule, including some evening hours)

 

Position Overview:

We are seeking a School Psychologist to support an adult education program (18+) for the 2025-2026 school year. This role offers significant flexibility, requiring meetings with students multiple times a week, including some evening hours. The psychologist will provide essential mental health support, assessments, and interventions to help students succeed in their academic and personal development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for students in the adult program.

• Develop and implement individualized support plans to address emotional, behavioral, and learning challenges.

• Collaborate with educators, families, and staff to create a supportive learning environment.

• Provide counseling, crisis intervention, and consultation services as needed.

• Maintain accurate records and participate in IEP/504 meetings.

• Adapt schedule to meet with students and staff at flexible times throughout the week.

Qualifications:

• Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology
• California PPS Credential in School Psychology (required)
• Experience working with adult students (18+) is preferred
• Strong ability to work independently and flexibly based on student needs
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
