School Psychologist - Spanish Fort, Alabama

Exciting opportunities await experienced School Psychologists seeking a dynamic contract position in the Mobile, AL area. This is a full-time, on-site only role, serving K-12 students across various sites within a vibrant school community. Your expertise will play a vital part in supporting students' academic, social, and emotional growth during the 2026-2027 school year, with the possibility to extend for summer or the next year based on performance.

Ideal candidates will bring a passion for assessment, intervention, and collaboration, and enjoy engaging with diverse learners. Flexibility is essential, as assignments may be itinerant, determined by school testing needs.

Qualifications:

• Active and valid Alabama School Psychologist license (must be prepared to provide proof)
• Experience working with K-12 student populations in a school setting
• Strong assessment, counseling, and consultation skills
• Ability to adapt to changing environments or assignments as needed
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Commitment to ethical practice and student well-being

Role & Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychological and psycho-educational evaluations
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Provide direct services, consultation, and counseling to students, teachers, and families
• Support crisis intervention and social-emotional programming as necessary
• Maintain thorough, timely, and confidential documentation in accordance with relevant laws and district procedures
• May travel between assigned schools to meet testing and support needs

Additional Details:

• Contract runs from October 1, 2026 to May 26, 2027, with renewal potential for Extended School Year (ESY) and Next School Year (NSY)
• Full-time schedule at 40 hours per week
• Caseload and specific school assignments will be determined closer to start date
