School Psychologist - Spanish Fort, AL

Exciting opportunities are available for experienced School Psychometrists to work in a dynamic K-12 setting in the Mobile, AL area for the upcoming academic year. This rewarding position is structured as a full-time contract role, beginning October 1, 2026, and running through May 26, 2027, with the strong potential for renewal based on performance. Candidates will work 40 hours per week, providing crucial assessment and support services to students throughout the district. Assignments will be determined as the start date approaches and may involve itinerant coverage based on the districts testing needs.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Masters degree and valid professional licensure as a School Psychometrist required
• Demonstrated experience conducting psychometric assessments for K-12 students
• Familiarity with a range of testing protocols and interpretation of results
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Willingness to work on-site and travel to multiple locations if needed
• Must provide images of current licenses and credentials

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer and interpret a variety of standardized tests for students across K-12 grade levels
• Compile comprehensive evaluation reports as needed for special education eligibility and intervention planning
• Collaborate with school psychologists, educators, and families to support student learning needs
• Maintain accurate records and ensure confidentiality in accordance with school policies
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to data-driven decisions for student services

This contract offers the possibility of renewal for extended school year (ESY) or subsequent school year placements based on performance. Interview scheduling is limited to on-site candidates, beginning 8/26/2026, with a pause between 8/31 and 9/4 and will resume thereafter.
