Full-Time School Psychologist – Lake Tapps, WA
Blazer Jobs is currently interviewing experienced School Psychologists for a full-time position with school districts in the Lake Tapps, WA area. We are seeking professionals who are committed to supporting student success through comprehensive psychological services.
Required Qualifications
Applicants must meet all of the following local and state requirements to be considered:
Hold a Master’s degree or higher in School Psychology or a related field
Possess a valid Educational Staff Associate (ESA) Certificate in School Psychology issued by the Washington Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction (OSPI)
Meet any district-specific credentialing or clearance requirements
Successfully pass a Washington State background check and fingerprinting
Provide evidence of a recent TB test or screening if required by the district
Have documented experience as a School Psychologist in a school setting
Please note: Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Typical Responsibilities
The School Psychologist will support the academic, behavioral, and emotional well-being of students through responsibilities such as:
Conducting comprehensive psychological and educational assessments
Developing and implementing behavior intervention plans
Participating in eligibility determinations and IEP meetings
Collaborating with teachers, counselors, and families to support student outcomes
Providing crisis intervention and counseling services
Ensuring compliance with federal and state special education regulations
