Embark on a fulfilling contract assignment for the 2026-2027 school year as a School Psychologist, providing essential support to K-12 students in the Monroe County area. This onsite-only role offers the opportunity to make a lasting impact across multiple school locations while working collaboratively with dedicated educational teams and support staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological and educational evaluations for students in grades K-12
  • Develop intervention plans and recommend evidence-based strategies for academic, behavioral, and social success
  • Consult and collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to ensure students needs are met
  • Participate in IEP meetings, eligibility determinations, and the development of student support plans
  • Contribute to crisis response efforts and offer direct counseling or skill-building to students as needed
  • Maintain accurate, compliant records and documentation

Qualifications & Preferred Experience:

  • Active Michigan School Psychologist license (verification required via the state credential search portal)
  • Previous experience in school-based psychological services is preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse student populations and multidisciplinary teams
  • Demonstrated knowledge of special education processes

Assignment Details:

  • Contract role, onsite at assigned schools
  • Three positions available; 37.5 hours per week
  • Students served range from kindergarten to high school
  • Assignment runs from August 12, 2026, through June 2, 2027
